Support — Call Up
Last updated: 2026-09-30
Call Up is a digital pager that replaces the buzzer in a café: you scan a code at your table, follow your order, and get an alert when it is ready.
For help, write to ceo@pino.sa — we reply within 24 hours. Include the order number shown on your screen (for example A042) if you have it; it answers half the questions by itself.
For customers
The questions we actually get, and why they happen.
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| I enabled alerts but nothing arrived | The alert goes through your phone’s own notification system, and Silent mode, Focus and a locked screen can all swallow it. Keep the page open and your phone will ring from the page itself — that is the only layer that makes a sound on its own. |
| I am on iPhone and see no notifications | Safari only allows web notifications after the page is added to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later). The page says so when it cannot subscribe. Alternatively use the App Clip, which opens when you scan the code. |
| I closed the page by accident | Scan the code on your table again — it reopens the same order in its current state. The link lasts as long as the order does. |
| The pager expired while I was still waiting | Ask the cashier for a new code. Each branch sets its own expiry (two hours by default). |
| I want my mobile number deleted | It is deleted automatically 30 days after the order ends, without you asking. To remove it sooner, write to us with the order number. |
For café staff
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| I forgot my password | There is no self-service reset yet. Write to support from your work address and we will reset it, or ask a supervisor to delete your account and send a fresh invitation. |
| The “ready” button does nothing | It stays locked until the customer has activated a device — before that there is no channel to reach. Check the customer connection panel on the pager page. |
| A resend was refused | Each branch has a cooldown between alerts and a ceiling on how many, both set by a supervisor in Settings. The message tells you how many seconds remain. |
| The QR code will not open on a customer’s phone | Almost always the public address is not configured. Settings shows an explicit warning in that case, and the system refuses to draw a code it knows is unreachable. |
| Delete my account | Sidebar → “حسابي” → “حذف حسابي”. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; the orders you handled remain, attributed to nobody, because branch reporting is built on them. |
What the system does not do
It sends no marketing messages, shares your number with nobody, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
“Alert sent” does not mean “alert heard”. No screen in the product claims otherwise, and no staff member should promise a customer more than that.
